Friday Fics Fix - And Now He's An Armadillo

 

'I still think we should try Khonshu, Marc. He’ll be here before long anyway, so…

Nope. He is not having the bird fix this. He will… sort it out. Somehow. Like a big boy.'

This is such a random story. 

- It made me smile, and I think we all could do with some more of that at the moment.

So, this fic is about Marvel's Moon Knight, and sees Marc Spector get into some issues when he touches an ancient artifact which he shouldn't have touched.

...He was, in fact, specifically told not to touch the thing, but that's neither here nor there. Because he did, in fact, touch it.

...And now he's an armadillo.

Actually, given the description of his long rabbit-like ears, I think he's probably an aardvark-armadillo hybrid.

But I'm pretty sure that wouldn't be a comfort to him in this situation 😅

Steven and Jake are torn between helping him and a kind of horrified-yet-thrilled fascination.

...Also, they're stuck and can't front (in case you didn't know - Moon Knight is a Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) system.)

So Marc is somewhat on his own here, and decidedly unhappy with the comments from the metaphorical back-seat which can't really be described as 'helpful.'

Honestly, there's not a lot more to it than that - it's Marc as an armadillo.

If that concept brings you the kind of childish glee it brings me, then it's worth the read 😅

The only Content Warning for this one is for the general presence of DID, which is a given for Moon Knight.
