This is a melancholy little story about love and loss...
...I ended up liking it a whole lot more than I thought I would.
(Just goes to show that taking a chance on something sometimes pays off.)
So, this is a fic from the Loki Disney+ series fandom.
...but before we can get into that:

OK, so now we know that, we can talk about the fic.
- This picks up after the end of series 2, and Mobius is not OK.
He's trying to be OK - he really is. But... grief sucks.
And it just makes everything all the more complicated that he doesn't really know the what and the why of what happened when Loki took hold of the timelines.
It adds this extra layer of emotion to everything which I thoroughly approve of.
- Mobius doesn't know if Loki's even really dead, after all, so should he feel guilty for mourning him? Does he need to look for him? Why the hell did Loki choose to do that anyway?!
I also like the way this fic played with the metaphor of the person you lost never truly being gone...
...although granted due to the magic-shenanigans, the metaphor does get more than a little messy 😅
Still, the vibes are on-point, and that's what really matters, dearest nerdlets.
You know me - I'm a big believer in the vibes.
Also, it brings the Lokius element we were all hoping for.
(...Because Marvel/Disney could at least have addressed that possibility. Cowards.)
