It's Thursday, it's somehow November, so let's get some comics-y superhero-y goodness!
Struggling to Keep Up With The MCU
Marvel have released a 'Look Ahead' thingummy previewing some of the MCU stuff (live-action and animated) coming onto Disney+ at the end of 2024 and into 2025.
(...Which means I can see Deadpool & Wolverine! Woo!)
Some of it looks interesting, some of it looks just OK - I'll leave you to decide exactly which is which.
(I'm def. looking forward to series 3 of What If...? though, and the Marvel Zombies series might be good.)
I do think they need to realise that even their most ardent fans are, in fact, struggling to keep up with the deluge of content 😅 Sometimes less is more, Marvel!
Warning: flashing images, general violence
Duolingo Webtoon
Like, I know it's a cynical corporate advertising grift - but I kind of love Webtoon's Duolingo Unleashed webcomic.
...It's unhinged in all the best ways, and you can tell that the creators - Karen Buchanan and Kylie "Kole" Hunsinger - have actually given it some thought and a lot of work (and had a lot of fun with it!)
Shameless Self-Promo Time!
Last week's F3 revisited a novel-length Marvel fanfic about Bucky and Steve which means a lot to me, and is definitely my self-care reading.
Are there any Marvel series that you're looking forward to?
Are you also having trouble keeping up with the MCU?
Talk to me! 😅💬
