We're talking the Disney+ Loki series today dearest nerdlets because IT ENDED LIKE THAT.
...And since I'm clearly not the only fan out there in fandom who has FEELINGS about IT ENDING LIKE THAT, there's a lot of fanfiction.
And long may that state of affairs continue, because Lord knows I need more Loki in my life!
Since this fic is a continuation fic, there's nowt but SPOILERS as far as the eye can see, m'k? M'k.

So this picks up after the end of the series, with O.B. and Mobius and the gang trying to figure out the hows, whats, and whys of both what comes next and what actually happened.
...Because from their point of view Loki made some very big, very unusual, decisions on the spur of the moment - and they're kinda trying to deal with that.
And actually - it made me think about how that whole scenario played out from their point of view:
They don't know about any of the time-slipping, or the going back to He Who Remains, or the centuries of advanced time-travel, multiverse, physics lessons.
From their point of view, they had a sort-of logical plan, and then Loki headed out into the void in slo-mo with zero warning.
...And I was like, 'yeah... I'd def. be confused af, and want some answers too!' 😅
So, this is actually the start of a fic series, and I'm def. gonna read the next part.
Because Mobius is planning to open an office in the freaking void and some sort of Loki-time-ghost is running around the TVA.
Mobius has become a harbinger of organised chaos, and I'm loving it.
I was really impressed by the science/fiction explanations in this fic - it was in detail, and actually seemed to make sense (at least, theoretically.)
When I was reading, I was like, 'wow, this is really convincing - like a Star Trek technobabble script or something' and then in the end notes the author was like 'I normally write for the Star Trek fandom so that's where the sci-fi technobabble comes from!'
...And I'm not sure whether I'm really good at ID'ing different flavours of sci-fi, or whether it was just that Trekkie-ish. Either way, I was impressed 😅
