In my defence - 

which is always a great way to start a blogpost

- the level of angst in this fic is such that originally I wasn't going to rec it.

But then the fic that I was going to rec turned out to be unavailable, so I thought 'f**k it, they're getting the angst!'

This fic is beautiful, OK?

But it also ripped out my heart and handed it to me, still beating.

So that's why I wasn't going to rec it - I planned on sparing you all the level of feels it inflicted.

But - universe says inflict the feels *shrugs* - whatcha gonna do?

This is a The Umbrella Academy (TUA) fic focussed on the (canon) relationship between Klaus and Dave.

...TUA fans will now understand why the feels level is so high.

BTW, this fic has SPOILERS up to the end of series 3 - just a heads up.

(Fandom notes:

canon is the 'official' stuff in the book/TV series/film/whatever)

It's got a very The Ghost of You by My Chemical Romance vibe - to me, anyhow.

(Emo child to the end! Lol.)

It's that kind of angst, as opposed to a kind of I'm Not OK (I Promise) in-your-face angst.

...If you don't know what I'm talking about then I'm sad, tbh. Go look it up 😉
