So far so normal. (Lol.)
Except whoever has them this time has decided that their weapon of choice is the temperature. It just keeps getting colder. And colder. And colder.
...Someone's definitely coming to rescue them. Right?
The thing about this fic is that it's about survival.
In the bleakest of terms this is just Sam and Bucky against the cold.
And it's written So. Well.™
And you know I have to rec well-written fics, it's in the rules. 😉
I'm not always the biggest fan of survival-type storylines, because they can get really boring, really fast.
And also sometimes they're a sign that action-adventure type shows are running kind of thin on ideas 😅
But, I can see this one working as a TV episode - it would work really well.
It also strikes the right level of angst and torment to keep yours truly's aforementioned emo spaghetti goblin brain happy 😅
It's OK - Sam and Bucky are fictional.
(Just one of the many reasons I don't read RPF (Real People Fiction, as opposed to Role Play Fiction,) - too many ethical stumbling-blocks with some of the storylines!)

I really do love survival storylines. My favourite tv show is the reality show Survivor... so it kinda fits the prompt lol.
