Micropoetry - October + November 2022

More Micropoetry!

And yes, this covers both October and November, because I decided to combine them for... efficiency. Yeah, let's call it efficiency. 😅

As always, the poetry will be in the alt-text of the images for those using screen readers, with / marks for the line breaks.

Here we are, then, my micropoetry:

6th October // Her hair is a wreath / Full living decoration / Natural power
dividing line
12th October // Night. Light. / Strike. / Bright. / Flint scratch / pulls embers / - a slice / in the night

dividing line

9th November // Now the millenium's children / Think maybe we should turn / the clocks back on the promise / Of hard work making 'better' / Turn 'em back; / See how it / Turned so sour / Every hour / That we strive

  3. The last poem seems right for this time of year, because the clock and millenium imagery reminds me of new year's eve!
