Friday Fics Fix - Adorkable Lokius Fluff

'“That’s incredibly dorky.”

“I learned from the best.”'

'Fics Fix!' with purple background and white lightning bolt shape

Let's get some Loki fluff - just because, really.

(There's also a fair edge of angst, because I have an emo goblin spaghetti brain.)

This is based on the Loki Disney+ show, and is centred on a Lokius relationship.

(...Fandom notes are at the end of this section.)

Which... I have to admit I'm usually a Sylki shipper, (because unlike a lot of people I get the inherent metaphor of literally learning to love yourself,) so I haven't read much Lokius.

I really enjoyed this one though!

(Fandom notes:

Lokius is a sexual and/or romantic relationship between Loki and TVA Agent Mobius.

Sylki is a sexual and/or romantic relationship between Loki and Sylvie.

Ship is a relationship.

Shippers are people who support/are fans of specific ships.)

Mobius: This is the good part.

So, what does this fic have in store?

Lemme tell you (cos I'm nice like that 😘😅):

  • sleepy snuggling
  • adorkableness
  • sweet banter
  • light-hearted bickering
  • insecurity soothed
  • essentially, this emoji: 😍
...I mean, what else could you ask for, really? (Don't answer that! Lol.)

Very few Content Warnings for this one:

- insecurity/feeling unlovable
- references to violence and past wrongs
- v. mild innuendo

This week's fic, then, is:

take a breath, my heart and hold your tongue by magicstranges

What do you make of the Lokius ship?
Do you have the illogical hatred of Sylkie that seems prevalent in fan spaces?
Talk to me! 😅💬

  1. I love Sylkie. I think the metaphor is super cool and I see how they are alike but also different in a lot of cases. It's a really interesting pairing in my opinion, not even looking at it romantically, but even just their platonic bond is cool.
