Yes, this is a The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (TFATWS) fic, in case you hadn't figured that out already.

So there's potentially MCU SPOILERS in this fic - cos I honestly can't accurately tell what is or is not an MCU spoiler at this point 😅

Basically, Bucky ends up in quarantine because he got splatted in the face with mysterious alien goo that made him really ill.

Because he's both on the mend and bored, he's texting/messaging/whatever at Sam. A lot. 

Because quarantine. - I think we can all relate.

Sam, who's doing some work with Rhodey (y'know, from Iron Man, etc.,) keeps getting interrupted by his notifications.

Rhodey tells him to go comfort his man already, and Sam basically makes the shocked Pikachu face. Hilarity ensues, alongside aforesaid strange wholesomeness.

So, I kinda needed this fic this week, OK?

I don't think anyone can blame me for that - it has just the right amount of fluff, angst, and ridiculous humour, to be a comfort in this bizarre and uncertain world of ours.

At least, as far as I'm concerned it does - hopefully you'll like it too.

Plus, I'm a big fan of Sam and Bucky in the 'only people/person who didn't know they're dating' trope. 😅

(Fandom notes:

Fluff - basically sugar and spice and all things nice.

Angst - think Eeyore listening to Welcome to the Black Parade on repeat while the poet Keats cries in the corner... I don't know where that strangely specific analogy came from, but basically gothicky-ness and/or pain.

Trope - half way between a theme and a stereotype.)

Not many Content Warnings for this one, but a few:

- adult humour and references to sexy-times
