It's Thursday, this is Dora Reads, so let's get some comics-y superhero-y goodness!
Just a few things for you this week - and everything is in the 'Other Stuff' category, for which we will, of course #BlameLoki
Other Stuff
Michael Lee @ Comic Book Resources discussed the greatest Marvel mystery of all time (and proof that Marvel fans can turn anything into a talking point) - who dumped coffee grounds in the sink in Captain America: Civil War?!
(I had entirely forgotten this - and you know how big a nerd I am.)
I mostly use instant coffee anyway - which I feel like is the norm in Britain, a lot more than it is in other places - so I'm not entirely sure why you can't dump the coffee grounds in the sink.
Does it block it or something?
But anyhow, I'd probably dump it in the food waste recycling box, or the bin - is that OK? I don't know. I'll have to ask my brother what he does with his!
Over on Medium, I talked about Joaquin Phoenix's Joker - or you can see the CWU where I originally talked about Joker right here on Dora Reads, here.
And to end with yet more shameless self-promo, I talked about the Moon Knight trailer over on Medium here, or you can see what I wrote about it in last week's CWU on Dora Reads here.
What's your theory on the coffee grounds in the sink?
Did you forget there even were coffee grounds in the sink, like I did, due to the fact that there's been a whole-a** pandemic etc. since then?
Why can't you dump coffee grounds in the sink?
Talk to me! 😀💬

I don't drink coffee, so I can't weigh in. However I would assume that dumping coffee grounds down the sink would clog it. Then again, if it's happening in an Avengers movie, then a clogged sink is probably the least of everyone's worries!
ReplyDeleteHa, Captain America: Civil War - they def. had more to worry about (or maybe that's *really* why Tony was angry! Lol)
