This is the last Fics Fix of October, and Halloween is just a few days away, so it seems like the perfect time for some Queer vampires!
So this week we're talking one of my faves - the film The Lost Boys. (Which, yes, is Queer af - deny it all you want, you can't change the truth.)
Before we get any further - there are SPOILERS for The Lost Boys in both this post and the fic it recs.

This fic picks up after the events of the film and the whole *makes vague hand motions* thing that went on.
So the vamps have been thoroughly slain, and Michael is trying to get on with college.
Except... some things don't leave you so easy. Some people don't leave you so easy.
Cue David.

Yup, he's the undead gay 80s icon who you just can't keep down!
And now he's haunting Michael, starting with your classic corner-of-eye peripheral sitings, and it's all extremely homo-erotic 😅😈
The rest of the fic develops just how you'd want with David and Michael dealing with the whole vampire-ghost deal-y...
...and how this affects their unresolved sexual tension/dark obsession thing they got going on.
(This is probably the time to mention that there is explicit sexual content in this fic. 18+, don't do drugs, and stay in school 👍)
It's well-written, and takes character development to interesting places.
Which of course means I have no choice - I have to rec.
Some warnings for this one:
- Homophobia (80s period-typical, inc. use of 'f****t')
- blood (GRAPHIC)
- general violence
- reference to murder (ish - they were vampires, Michael)
- casual use of ableist terms such as crazy etc.
- jealous/possessive romantic partners
- explicit sexy-times
