So excited for this series - which starts streaming next Wednesday, woo!

(I'll probably do a brief, spoiler-free/spoiler-warned, li'l discussion of each episode here, like I did with The Falcon and The Winter Soldier (TFATWS.)

They'll be running on a week's lag because I like to finish these posts on a Wednesday, for posting Thursday, so I likely won't have time to watch the 'current' episode before writing each week's Comics Wrap-Up.)

The absolutely amazing YouTube channel Are They Gay? made an explanatory video about Sam and Bucky, and Queerbaiting in TFATWS.

(Titled, handily 'How Marvel Baited Its Queer Fans')

Alex (the YouTuber behind the channel,) also gives an excellent overview of what Queerbaiting is, why studios use it, and why it effing hurts so much.

Last week's Friday Fics Fix sees Bucky Barnes (from TFATWS) seeking advice from a variety of (well, three,) New York superheroes regarding the fact that he's falling in love with Sam.

Because in this house we allow Bucky Barnes to be his Achillean, Queer-a**, self, with the actual full-on, representation, and not the Queerbaiting b*llsh**. 😎
