It's Thursday, it's still 2020 - let's get some superhero-y comics-y goodness!
Everything is once again in the 'Other Stuff' category (dammit Loki!)
Other Stuff
Marvel have released a trailer for upcoming comic Marvel's Voices: Indigenous Voices #1 -
- which sees creators from Indigenous, First Nations, and Native American communities using their skills to bring some of Marvel's Indigenous characters to the page.
Well-known creators involved include Rebecca Roanhorse, Darcie Little Badger, and Stephen Graham Jones.
(Warning: mild flashing images)
Javicia Leslie, CW's new Batwoman, has debuted her look for the series - which, as promised, incorporates her natural hair.
Vernieda Vergara @ Book Riot provides this list of places online to read Manhwa (South Korean comics and graphic novels) - I've not read much Manhwa, so I'ma try to check out some of these!
Are you looking forward to the new series of Batwoman?
Are you a Manhwa fan?

Love that Marvel is highlighting Indigenous voices! It is super important to bring awareness to First Nations, Indigenous and Native American people. I actually took a course recently on Indigenous literature and it was very eye-opening.
ReplyDeleteYeah it's awesome - it's always great when big publishers give diverse creators the platforms they deserve :)
