TV Trailers
Check out this trailer for Netflix's Project Power - a new series about
pills that give people temporary superpowers, starring Jamie Foxx and Joseph
Gordon-Levitt.
Warning: flashing images, pseudo-drug use, violence and guns, abduction,
references to medical experimentation.
Other Stuff
One of these days, I won't have to hear the term 'ComicsGate' ever
again.
And then the Nazis will be gone and I will be free to talk about comics.
But until then, there is a problem, Houston. Because ComicsGate is like
Nazi whack-a-mole.
(Fangirling notes: ComicsGate (CG) is a bunch of man-babies who think that there are too many women,
People of Colour (PoC,) LGBTQ+ people, and disabled people in comics.
I f**k you not.
They're the doofuses (doofusii?) who like to doxx and harrass prominent
people in comics who aren't Allocishet able-bodied White dudes who have
their exact same sense of entitlement and dislike of diversity.)
Dynamite Publishing have finally gotten on the last nerves of several of
their creators, for their continuing support of CG-ers.
I get that Dynamite have always been on the edge of things - I adore Red
Sonja, and Vampirella, but they've often fallen on the side of
over-sexualisation, rather than simply being sexy.
Supporting these absolute... [censored]... CG-ers, though? It's
not good.
KEANU REEVES is bringing out a comic series folks!

It's called BRZRKR,
is apparently ultra-violent, and is published by BOOM! Studios.
...It's also apparently about an immortal warrior fighting through the
centuries.
Is... is Keanu Reeves trolling us right now? Is that what's happening?
Because it feels like that's what's happening.

I didn't know comics gate was a thing. But to be honest, I'm not surprised. I think a lot of men who like comments feel like they have some sort of ownership over them. They have seen so many white men as superheroes for too long, that anything different and they throw a temper tantrum.

DeleteUgh, they are man-children. With an unhealthy obsession with destroying action figures of Rose Tico from the modern Star Wars films in the most imaginative ways they can think of. If I was Kelly Tran, I'd get a restraining order.
