It's Thursday. I think we could all still do with some heroes. Let's get
that comics-y goodness!
And once again this week, everything is in the 'Other Stuff' category, for
which we will blame Loki - as is traditional here on Dora Reads ;)
Other Stuff
The amazing Chyler Leigh, who plays the canonically Lesbian Alex Danvers on
the Supergirl TV
series
has come out as being LGBTQ+.
She also explained how doing Alex's coming-out storyline helped her with
her own story - super-awesome! (Pun unintended but now very amusing.)
Alexandra Steinberg @ Comic Book Resources
wrote a list of 10 LGBTQ Webcomics to Read During Pride
- and I'm totally checking some of these out!
Danika Ellis @ The Lesbrary provided
an awesome list of 40 Sapphic comics that you can add to your TBR.
And to finish this week,
check out this post by Caitlin Chappell @ Comic Book Resources
which includes details of how the comics industry and community is
supporting - and how you can support - Black people right now.

Any recommendations for LGBTQ+ graphic novels or comics, dearest
nerdlets?
Any recs. for comics or graphic novels from Black creators?

I had no idea Chyler Leigh came out! That’s awesome! I watched her when she was on Grey’s Anatomy and I think she is a phenomenal actress :D
