October... what can I say about October?
October was a month, that happened, I guess! 😅
...complete with colds and a lot of work-stuff. But meh *shrugs* it was fine. Just an average month, really! 😅
And October 31st marked my 5th year of running Dora Reads!!!! 😀
So, yeah, that was cool. You can check out my anniversary post here, btw.
Once again, I didn't manage to write/post any reviews.
...I am a book blogger! I'm just a very busy one with a huuuuuge review backlog! 😅
Anyways, hopefully HP Halloween meant that my content stayed on the bookish side of things.
HP Halloween is something that I do in October for my Friday Fics Fix posts. Basically, for the month of October, I only recommend Harry Potter fanfiction.
(Because it saves me from reading pumpkin porn. I sh** you not.)

My October was pretty fun! I also found it interesting that you commented on how you hadn’t posted any reviews in October. I think I love your blog so much because you’re not only always focused on books. This Friday I am putting out a post that is completely non book related and I was inspired by you!

I also didn’t post any reviews in October. I think I’ve lost my motivation to write them. They take forever to write, and they barely get any views, so it’s hard to make myself put in the effort. I hope you’re having a good November!

Hahaha... ummmm... fanfiction can make sex out of anything. ANYTHING. (Don't test that. You'll regret it.)
DeleteAnd I already accidentally read a pumpkin-sex fic back in September, & I know it just gets worse closer to Halloween, so I avoid Halloween-themed fics as much as possible and read Harry Potter instead! (Side note: I also avoid Easter-themed fics *shudders*)
Congratulations on 5 years of blogging. Being a book blogger doesn't mean you have to review books. There are so many ways to talk about bookish stuff without truly reviewing. Check out my October wrap up.

DeleteFive years--congratulations! (I googled this--llongyfarchiadau!) Sometimes just okay is really good. I enjoy Harry Potter merch very much and just bought a mug for my tea. October rushed past for me and like your month, was just okay for me too.
