It's time for some more from the king of all fandoms - Harry Potter.
Seriously, there would be soooo much less fan content in the world without Harry Potter! Lol.

So this fic takes the fascinating twist of Draco being a Seer - as in, of the future...
...And it takes this twist and f**king RUNS with it!
Because Draco starts having visions of Harry and him, together, romantically.
(Yes, this is Drarry.)
(Fangirling notes: Drarry is a romantic and/or sexual relationship between Draco and Harry.)
But Harry seems to, well, hate him.
So Draco asks himself - is the future set in stone? Does he want it to be? Can he change it if it's not something he wants?
Is he being selfish if he enters into relationships with other people, knowing what he knows?
Or is he letting his visions dictate his life if he stays single, hoping for Harry to change his attitude towards him?
See? Juicy 😉
And, while this is by no means a perfect fic, there are moments of pure genius:
- Draco struggling to turn his prejudices on their head, fighting against the reactions he expects of people and of himself
- Ron fighting against his having to work with Draco only to have things boil over on the job
- Narcissa and Lucius acting awkwardly with these new situations they find themselves in, but smoothing it over with courtesy
- Draco having uncharitable thoughts about Hermione and then chastising himself for them
- A scene that references the King's Cross scene in the last book, but in a way that is just... somehow the best kind of subtle!

I’m in two minds about seeing the future. On one hand, I would love to know how I end up in life, what job I have, if I’m in a relationship, etc. However, if I were to find out something negative, it would surely haunt me. I’d just like to know the positive stuff!

DeleteThe point that this fic makes v. well is, would you even want that? Or would you find yourself trying to live to something which isn't currently real? Would you get frustrated if the outcome you foresaw seems to be the exact opposite of how things currently stand? Would you miss the surprises in life?
(I love it when fics ask almost as many questions as I do! Lol.)
