Micropoetry - February 2017

You know the drill by now - and if you don't, here's the low-down:

I write micropoetry on Twitter and once a month I put it all together in a wrap-up post :) Got that? Awesome! On to the poetry!

5th Feb
image of button, needle and thread
She lost the thread
Of his ragged heart
Some time ago.
Then she watched him unravel,
Little by little,
As time went by.

12th Feb

pic of girl in chairSweetheart,
Have a seat.
We need to have some words.
Cos no matter what anyone's said,
Or how much they beg,
You don't listen.

22nd Feb

You heard Carmarthen for Caerfyrddin,
Changed Caerdydd to Cardiff,
Told us Sian should be Jane,
& laughed when we named a taxi, 'tacsi'

Just see me.
Please? See me?
Don't tell me
How to feel
How to be.
Just see me.
Please? See me?

    1. Thank you! :) I came across micropoetry about a year ago on Twitter, and figured it was perfect for the stray bits of verse that rattle around in my head!
