Where did July go?!
Like... I know sometimes time goes quick, but really?!
I think it's the heat.
I spent most of the month slouching around the house, trying to cool down, and being a generally not-nice person to be around.
Me + heat = grump monster! Lol.
So yeah - the main thing about July was that it was too f**king hot!
I'm hoping that it doesn't heat up again any time soon.
The Northern Hemisphere is literally burning, and Trump and all the other climate-change denying a**holes need to wake the f**k up and get a goddamn clue!
In better news, my grandmother is once again out of hospital!
At the moment, she's doing OK (fingers crossed!) and is back to dancing around the house, so that's definitely a good sign!

Totally agree with you on this heat! It is absolutely ridiculous and I was so happy that my local news the other day took the time to explain that this is all because of climate change. This has to stop.

DeleteYeah... my nan was in hospital from early March until mid-June; snow on the ground when she went in, and boiling hot when she came out. Then in early July she fell and had to go in again for two weeks. I'm so happy she's out and doing better! If you haven't read my Parkinson's post, please do. :)

I'm so happy about your grandmother! And yes, your post on Parkinson's was helpful to me. It seems like everyone's been affected by this heat. We are starting a tropical heat wave today with high humidity that just makes you sweat walking to your car.

I thought I'd already commented on this post, but I don't see it, so maybe I'm crazy (or didn't hit publish or something). At any rate, I hope your grandmother is feeling better. I see from the comment above that she was back in the hospital. So sorry!
