'Tony wasn’t sure who’d be unhappier: the team when they found out he was sleeping with their resident mildly evil demigod, or Loki when he found out that Tony would be late for their dinner date on account of being buried alive.'
Yes, that is a quote from this week's fic. Yes, it is awesome.
In my defence, I haven't rec'd FrostIron in ages! I've held myself back for a remarkably long time 😉

'“Well, uh, we got caught in a cave-in and there’s no way out. I’m wondering – uh, if you’re not doing anything, that is – and it’s not like I only want you for your magic skills, which are awesome and sexy and fabulous, but-”
“You want me to drop whatever it is that I’m doing and swan in to save you?”
“Basically, yeah.”'
A brief re-cap for those of you who aren't aware:
FrostIron is a romantic and/or sexual relationship between Loki and Tony Stark, mainly based around the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
I know, to begin with it sounds weird. But think about it for a minute - somehow, it works!
I love this fic because it's fun and silly.
It's also, despite being only one part/chapter long, infinitely quotable; there was like at least 3 more quotes I could've taken from it!
Ooh, quick warning: there's much references to the sexy times, and adult humour.
So, enjoy the sass and the fun - I think we could all do with some fun every now and then! XD
This week's fic, then, is:
The Pros and Cons of Having A Supervillain on Speed-dial by Arkada

Glad you enjoyed this fic, Cee! It’s good to find joy and humour in little pieces of work as novels can get so dramatic these days.
ReplyDeleteRight! (Plus I have a really off-the-wall sense of humour! Lol.)
DeleteGlad you explained the FrostIron relationship. I had no clue! It's weird though...
