So let's un-unfinish this unfinished business! Here's all the micropoetry I wrote in September:
19th September
Hearts bend and twist
to the music you set into the world.
Did you know?
Did you know what you could do
with a rhythm & a tune?
21st September
Three times you knocked
Three times I answered.
I did as you bade.
All debts must be paid.
27th September
So at the end of the day,
Kick down the effing doors,
Draw on the walls,
Write HERE I AM across the windows,
& Give 'em hell
So that's it for September's micropoetry! If you want to support me and my poem-writing ways, buy me a coffee here.
Previous micropoetry posts:
Ooh I love the first one! Music is powerful, but the way I interpret it I feel like it could also be a metaphor for being who you are and the good things you put into the world. And the second is kind of cryptic and threatening, I like it >:-D
ReplyDeleteThank you so much! :) (I have absolutely no idea where the second one came from, sometimes phrases get stuck in my head! Oops! Lol.)
DeleteEverytime you do one of these posts I wonder, how does Cee do this?! In such little words?!!! I am in awe.
ReplyDelete*blushes* *flails* *blushes some more* THANKS SO MUCH! XD <3 <3 <3
DeleteLovely poetry! My favourite was the first one, because it shows both the power of love and the power of music. Both of which I believe to be very powerful ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you! XD <3 <3 <3
DeleteI love the last one! I really enjoy your micropoetry, I wish I was a bit more creative with words, my poetry is utter crap!
ReplyDeleteThank you for linking up to #RVHT, it’s back tonight after I had a quick break to get married!
